Twitterscap.es are images made in real-time from the data from Twitter, harvested at the moment the image is made.

By creating a Twitterscape, you triggered the app to pull the data feed in the Twitter API and process each tweet character for character against the profile colors chosen by the author of the tweet, producing the Twitterscape image.

No two Twitterscap.es are ever the same, and thus are commemorative of the moment in time they represent.
